Derren Brown, a popular illusionist in the United Kingdom, has attempted an impossible feat just recently. He predicted the National Lottery numbers on television and the good part is he picked the right numbers.

Channel 4 covered Brown's prediction on Wednesday's lottery draw. The said event was covered in all of its channels. Brown selected the numbers in advance to see if they matched the official draw. Brown said ''I can't believe it'' when he succeeded in his attempt which defeated all odds and which betting providers would not allow punters to bet on.

The Lottery number prediction will start a new television series for Brown. Brown used to appear in a show wherein he did a Russian Roulette. Other tricks he did included contacting the dead and persuading the public to rob an armoured security van.

Brown was in an undisclosed studio location when he predicted the Lottery numbers. He told viewers that only he and two cameramen were in the room. First he showed to the viewers a line of balls containing the numbers he predicted will be drawn in the Lottery. The numbers cannot be shown to the public until after the BBC was able to screen the draw.

To prove that his show is not taped, he opened the television showing the BBC1 National Lottery draw. He pointed out that they were definitely live. As the draw machine was launched, an obviously nervous Brown apologised to the viewers beforehand if he got the numbers wrong. ''I should say this is the culmination of a year's obsession over this. I have had Lottery numbers all up over the walls of my house," he explained.

Brown watched intently on the television as the draw was made. The jackpot prize was £2.4m. He kept his mouth covered by his hand the entire time. Then finally, the six winning numbers were shown on screen : 2, 11, 23, 28, 35, 39.
He held a card with the winning numbers written on it then turned over the line of balls to show to the public the numbers he had chosen before the draw. And the numbers were exactly the same!

He promised to tell viewers how he did such a feat on Friday. Brown's four-part series called The Events will continue until September 18, 2009.

Williams performed very badly at Monza as it was a low down-force circuit, and they are not good at those; in fact they shine at high down-force circuits, and there are some of those yet to come. The Williams car is basically very fast and Rosberg has developed into a very good driver. So far this season it has not really come together, but there is still time.

The other Williams driver Kazuki Nakajima has not yet scored a point this season, but he is still quite likely to do so. You can get more or less evens on this.

Finally, although it seems almost certain that Brawn GP will win the constructors championship, you can get 14 to 1 that this will go to Red Bull Racing. Given that they are rapidly running out of engines, you would really need over 30 to 1 to make this a worthwhile prospect.
